Job Title: - Elementary Resource Room Teacher/Teacher Consultant, 1.0 FTE

Location: Split position between Chelyenne and Cherokee Elementary

Start Date: August 31, 2026

Application Requirements:
Must be completed with all required attachments for consideration.

Qualification:
- Valid Michigan teaching certificate with any of the following endorsements is required: SA, SB, SC, SE, SK, SL, SM, or SV
- Must be highly qualified to teach K-5 special education.
- Experience working with diverse student populations preferred.
- Interest in working in supplemental athletics and/or academic activities preferred.

Essential Duties:*
Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English to perform essential job duties, including but not limited to:
- Understanding and following safety instructions
- Responding appropriately to emergency situations
- Completing documentation
- Interacting with English-speaking staff, students, community, and supervisors.
