Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree
• 18 semester hours of relevant coursework
• 2.7 GPA (undergraduate coursework or post-graduate coursework)
• Ability to produce an official, degree-dated transcript from an accredited university

Position Purpose

Under the general supervision of the school principal, to facilitate student success and growth in academic and interpersonal skills through implementing district-approved curriculum. Documenting teaching and student progress/activities/outcomes. Addressing specific educational needs of individual students and creating a flexible, safe, and optimal learning environment. Providing feedback to students, parents, and administration regarding student progress, expectations, goals, etc.

Minimum Degree Level

Bachelor's degree (click here for more info about master's pay).

Alternative Licensed Pathways

If you are offered a position with BCS, our licensure specialist can share information on the 1-year emergency license and later work with you to convert this to a residency license.
