Kitchen Service Worker

Position: Kitchen Service Worker Qualifications/Requirements: Duties (include but not limited to the following):
• High school diploma.
• Knowledge of the operation of a school cafeteria.
• Ability to work cooperatively and courteously with other staff and others.
• Ability to maintain good attendance and punctuality.
• Conduct cafeteria operations according to applicable laws, rules, and regulations.
• Monitor weekly menus from the contracted lunch provider.
• Plan all food programs which include scheduling, control, use of government commodities, ordering and schedule control.
• Prepare and serve foods; maintain clean kitchen and serving areas.
• Perform other duties as described in the position description.

Salary

As per schedule Hours: 30 hour workweek, normally M-F, 8:30 am-2:30 pm This position involves working with children and/or adults who have developmental disabilities. In addition to the requirements listed above, the following qualifications shall be considered in evaluating an applicant for possible employment for this position:
• An applicant’s varied work-experience;
• One’s training and/or education;
• And, one’s adaptability to work with children and/or adults with developmental disabilities.
