Job Title: High School Theater Program: Costumes/Hair/Makeup -
Responsibilities:
Costume Crew Management
Train and manage the costume, hair, and makeup crew (high school crew)
Costume Responsibilities
Collect measurements of actors
Research appropriate time period/environment ideas for costumes and presents to directors for approval.
Locate costume pieces from inventory and/or purchase
Present costume orders to production manager for approval
Labeling and sorting costumes, shoes, and accessories for the cast into individuals' baskets
Handle costume changes and repairs as needed during rehearsals and performances
Appropriately clean costumes at the completion of the show
Inventory costumes at the completion of every show.
Items must have a documented location.
Hair & Makeup Responsibilities
Research appropriate time period and creates character looks presents to directors for approval.
Labeling and sorting makeup/wigs for the cast into individuals' baskets
Assist with makeup application & hair styling during dress rehearsals and performances.
