Job Summary
Coaches of each interscholastic sport at Mt. Hope High School shall be knowledgeable and skilled in the techniques of their sport. The head coach is responsible for promoting, coordinating, and continually improving the interscholastic sport he/she is assigned. Every coach is directly responsible to the Athletic Director for the content, conduct, and coordination of his/her program.

Requirements
Experience with secondary school level coaching preferred. Rhode Island Certificate for Athletic Coach (NFHS Fundamentals of Coaching and Sudden Cardiac Arrest courses) and current Red Cross Certification(s) in CPR and First Aid required, as well as annual recertification for NFHS RI Rules Test and Concussion Course.
Basketball (Boys) Assistant Coach - Winter 2026-2027
Position Available for Winter 2026-2027 Season One position available to coach the Boys Freshman Team, dependent upon funding and sufficient sign-ups.
