Job Title: Autism Support Specialist, Kids First/TopS
Term: 2026-2027 School Year
Full-time Position: Includes benefits
Pay Range: $15.10 - $19.93 per hour (7 hours/day, 5 days/week)

Qualifications and Possible Job Duties:
* High school diploma
* Previous experience and training with students with special needs (Autism Spectrum Disorder) preferred
* Issued ODE Educational Aide Permit, or able to obtain a permit from the Ohio Department of Education
* Successful completion of all pre-employment screenings
* Alternatives to above qualifications as the board may find appropriate and acceptable

Responsibilities:
* Assist student in participating with classroom activities
* Help student with daily living skills (including, but not limited to: removing coat, zipping, buttoning, tying shoes, and toileting)
* Assist with behavior interventions and reinforcement activities as directed by the teacher
* Assist teacher to supervise children (for example: halls, restrooms, playground, during gross motor activities, snack/lunch, and boarding the bus)
* Set up and clean up specific centers in the classroom (art, music, fine motor, etc.)
* All other duties as assigned

Salary Schedule Placement: Commensurate with experience and training.
