Essential Duties for this Position:
* Interpret oral communication into sign language in classes
* Facilitate communication among students, classroom teachers, and other personnel in the school district.
* Convey the content of the message clearly and accurately according to the receptive language level of the student.
* Maintain confidentiality of student information

Minimum Standards:
* Must hold a valid interpreter's license issued by the Arkansas Department of Health;
* Must have a high school diploma or equivalent; and
* Hold at least a:
3.0 on the Educational Interpreter Performance Assessment (EIPA); or
Quality Assurance Screening Test (QAST) 3/3 (transliterating /interpreting).
